GSA Contract Disaster Recovery Supplier

As of March 13, 2020, the Coronavirus (COVID-19) Pandemic has been declared a national emergency. As a result, Global’s GSA Contract may be utilized by entities other than the federal government. This includes State and Local government entities receiving federal funds as a result of the declared national emergency.

Global is a designated Disaster Purchasing supplier through our GSA Schedule. This indicates that State and Local Governments may procure Disaster Purchasing products and services from our GSA contract. Global is extremely well positioned to supply these entities. Quick delivery products may be selected from Global’s Express Program, which will be delivered in the following ways:

HOW THIS WORKS:

Governmental units receiving federally funded dollars in response to the COVID-19 Pandemic may purchase through Global’s GSA Contract.

A letter from the purchaser must accompany the GSA order, as directed by GSA, to reflect: "This order is placed under GSA Schedule number GS-03F-076GA under the authority of the GSA Disaster Purchasing program. The products and services purchased will be used in preparation or response to disasters or recovery from major disaster declared by the President.

WHAT QUALIFIES AS A GOVERNMENTAL UNIT?

The term, 'State or local government' includes any State, local, regional, or tribal government. This includes state agencies, counties, cities, towns, villages, boroughs, municipalities, emergency response units, educational institutions, etc.

Educational Institutions include:

• Local elementary, middle and high schools operated by public school boards

• Charter school programs that are chartered and operated by local school authorities and provide free public education,

• Public or non-profit nationally accredited or recognized colleges, and

• Universities that provide at least a 2-year program that offers a degree or offers credit toward such a degree.
